Recently noticed that the countdown for the Inception teaser has been removed?

It's back up. Sorry to worry you.
Explanation:
We are currently in the middle of developing a new system to manage our news stories. I thought I would give it a test run on the main page for a few minutes and see how it was coming along. Naturally, I broke something and accidentally overwrote the current index.php file. I had to refer to a backup a few weeks old to restore it. That file didn't have the countdown yet.
...and now it's back up!
