"Those noobs" that are "ruining" this place are external factors whose effect can be amplified by whatever you push them into doing. I know how someone can be unpleasant but giving him reason to be so much more unpleasant and THEN complaining that he's not changing and not backing out is not the right mentality in any way. Same with the mods (what Teddy and chee said).

I've been doing the same thing with talli, arguing with him, wanting to make him change for the sake of the others. The result was that I along with everyone else gave that hardheaded and misguided guy reason to do more of the same. I didn't really listen to the people that told me to cut it out because I thought my intentions were pure and 'spoke for the people'. That didn't matter though. What people were witnessing was one hardheaded guy arguing with another so I guess everyone assumed it's ok to fight fire with fire and that idea spread and grew. I'm at the root of the cause for this and the nature of that feud penetrated everyone's perception of what-is-a-normal-forum-interraction.

So am I the only one who's gonna admit fault instead of stating 'NF has turned into a hellhole' and blame it on the noobs or whoever you think deserves punishment for whatever he bothered you with. The "we can't let em run around for free" kind of thinking is completely wrong and I apologize to Teddy for having and spreading the mob mentality in the past.

Now you don't even need unionized riots.

Okay joking aside, I sort of agree with you. I don't believe blaming everything on a few people is the right way to go. I do believe that communication sucks on NF, and that tends to be the root of all our problems. People either don't read shit the right way, or they get too many messages about shit, or they just completely ignore shit altogether while focusing their attention on something else. It's quite frustrating, but if we can solve that issue then we pretty much solve most other things.
