That's why I said "a vacation that coincides". You wouldn't do all that just for a film. You'd spend the week doing as you please and also see the film.

It's going to come with IT: Chapter 2 (September 9), but given that might be too early on, then it's definitely with The Joker (October 5). Cannot wait to see the what he's up to this time. :gonf:

Not sure why people think it's too early for a teaser. Nolan always has a teaser 1 year before release. I totally expect it with Hobbs and Shaw on August 2nd. They always release the teaser with a big action/tentpole movie.

Wouldn't be surprised if it's releasing with Hobbs and Shaw... I know that sounds early, but his teasers always release in early August. Hobbs & Shaw's audience is more in line with Tenet and it's probably going to end up being bigger than IT and Joker. Why not?

I don't think they have been filming long enough for even a short "Dunkirk" like teaser to be on Hobbs and Shaw.

I thought the same thing of Dunkirk... They began filming Dunkirk on 23rd of May, which is more or less when Tenet began filming. And they released a teaser trailer before Suicide Squad, which was on August 1st. Remember his first teasers are always a few shots and text. Interstellar's teaser was mostly documented footage. It had literally only a shot of Cooper driving away from the house, and a rocket flying in the distance. A shot they never really used in the final film.

I don’t think we’re getting anything with Hobbs and Shaw, unless Nolan filmed some stuff before going to Estonia or we shot some stuff strictly for a trailer before principal photography started.

It would be cool if we got a mini film trailer like the one for the original spider-man film. https://youtu.be/bjtXUULtH4E

They could have time to throw something together I guess, but the battle of Dunkirk was a known concept that is easy to convey in a trailer by showing soldiers on the beach. It's clear what the movie is about. Tenet is an unknown and so far all they've seemed to film is some scenes in an opera house and shots of the two main actors walking around and driving cars.
I agree it would be something with barely any footage, it could be like the Dark Knight teaser with no footage and just voice-overs.
