Behind the scenes - Set Photos/Videos (Potential Spoilers)
they're just being used for fill in the car, too much power and the light becomes directional.
God it feels so good seeing set photos from a new Nolan film.
Indeed. They are probably having some fill at the right side of their faces.Disney+'s solo2001 wrote: ↑July 1st, 2019, 6:01 pmthey're just being used for fill in the car, too much power and the light becomes directional.
Probably the daylight was cloudy, therefore the light was diffused.
Their set up is likely to look like the sun is on their right side, lighting up half their faces giving it up some contour.
It may be so interior car scenes match exterior shots where there was more direct sun shot on other days instead of cloudy.
Like another user said, they are used on most shots of car interiors, you can see they used a similar setup in The Dark Knight, at the thirty second mark.

It seems that preparations for filming are taking place as workers have placed tags and signs.

There's a Soviet-era lighthouse in the general vicinity as well, as well as a war monument.
The only thing I ever visit over there is Attimo pizza, which is a family establishment run by Italians. Best pizza in Tallinn, for my money.
