Why is Denzel getting cast even a thing? Like I said before it would be pure stunt casting and it's cheap.

Yeah, casting Denzel would be like throwing Ben Affleck in Interstellar simply because Casey Affleck was in it. It's very "noticeable." Nolan wouldn't do noticeable or distracting casting.

Well, some of John David Washington's first roles (like, tiny roles) were in films of his dad. I know it's not the same thing the other way around but still.

Seems like it's becoming more and more likely that the only "Nolan regular" we might be getting is Michael Caine.

Most likely no Cillian Murphy, or Anne Hathaway, Christian Bale, Tom Hardy. They all have projects lined up.

Who are the other more frequent collaborators?

Liam Neeson
Morgan Freeman
Joseph Gordon-Levitt
Gary Oldman
Marion Cotillard
Ken Watanabe
Mark Boone Junior
Nicky Katt

Any ideas on what they're up to?

Cotillard will never shoot again with Nolan
