How I starred in Nolan: the experience of participation in the crowd
But finally I received an answer - I was sent the rules of participation in the shooting, instructions and registration forms. The letters promised long but fascinating shooting days (about 15 hours), food and full immersion in the world of cinema. In response, they asked to regularly come at 6:30, observe a certain form of clothing, be patient and treat everything with understanding.

Strictly forbidden to use any photo and video equipment and phones, advised to bring a book. I decided it was time to add one more to the several passages of the original MGS - in book format.

And we opened the reverse side of spectacular stunts. Even such a simple, from the point of view of the viewer, trick, like jumping from a window, is removed long and dull. First removed the crashing window. All people within 15 meters from the window were taken out of the hall, plastic was spread out under it (a window at the height of the second floor). They blew up the window, collected fragments, again spread out plastic, inserted a new window, again blew it up ...

After that, it would be necessary to return people to their places, but the most arrogant rush in search of a better place under the sun. Seeing that cameras are being dragged to the sector under a broken window, they jump up from their seats and try to settle down closer, hoping that no one will figure it out in the confusion. For 4 days on the court, I saw more than once how the most cunning jumped from place to place just to be in front of the camera again.

So, people were seated, a platform with mats was placed in front of them - they took doubles as the hero jumps from a window onto a platform. Then it was disassembled, removed duplicates, as the stuntman descends from the window on the rope. The frame change, now the actor is “landing” in the hall, among people and sneaking between the rows. For short tricks - a few hours of shooting. Remember this when you watch a movie!

Wow, that was a well-written article with a ton of fascinating information! (Contains quite a bit of potential spoilers, though, so do not read if you are sensitive to them.)

Can't believe that it took a full day after this article was published until it was posted here, though! Is the overlap between Nolan Fans and the Russian fanbase of Mr. Nolan really that small? :D

And also, "Christofer Nolan <[email protected]>"... :ninja: ?

That picture is from Men in Black 3. It was on TV two weeks ago and that's what the main villain alien was wearing.
