Any possibility this could be a Shakespeare adaptation?
Funny you say that. I've always thought Nolan could make an unbelievable Hamlet. That's my favorite Shakespeare play. And I see a ton of Batman parallels there, too.

Also, Othello would be pretty cool. As would King Lear.

Actually, holy shit, John David Washington would be a good Othello, Robert Pattinson would be a good Iago, and Elizabeth Debicki would be a good Desdemona. Those are the three leads of the play. :o

And Nolan worked with Kenneth Branagh.

I’m all in favor of a challenge and a surprise so I would be encouraged by any left field choices they go for. Dunkirk’s risk paid for me as a viewer in a big way.TDKR to Interstellar to Dunkirk were major leaps. I think the next step will be daring, no Inception remake sort of talk or Bond talk really gets me going all that much. Just don’t think they’d regress.
I agree. Not that I wouldn’t be excited to see a Nolan bond film in the future, but it would feel underwhelming in terms of the possibility of what Nolan could do with an out of left field genre or idea. Nolan challenging himself is the best Nolan imo and can leave a mark on cinema few can.
Absolutely.

Today would be a great day for news.

C'mon, Nolan, you magnificent bastard. Give us that sweet, sweet title.

Interstellar 2: Galactic Boogaloo.

... actually, the title Under itself could work as the title for a Nolan film.

What does "1.5 words" mean?

As in like, "The" would be 0.5?

If so, my bet is on just one word (Interstellar, Dunkirk, ???).

Over/Under 1.5 words so that people can guess 1 being under, 2+ being over. That way the Over/Under number isn't an actual answer. "The" counts as a full word in my book.

So far in his career we have:
1 word title (10): Tarantella, Larceny, Doodlebug, Quay, Following, Memento, Insomnia, Inception, Interstellar, Dunkirk
2+ word title (4): Batman Begins, The Prestige, The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises
