I'm trying to think something that's a big sci-fi concept in present day that can be done in a realistic Nolany way and I can only think of Time Travel.

It's not anything with aliens or ghosts or robots in the traditional sense. Maybe something regarding A.I.?

Westworld is already about A.I. and it's consciousness. I doubt if Nolan will tap into that.

He had deleted most of the work his brother on AI in Interstellar to focus on human interactions, and used the robots as sidekick. So I doubt he'll deal with AI.

Good chance this is only but one of many locations for this film. He tends to jump all over the world... Could be a large portion of the film, or a mere 5 minute screen time sequence. Curious to know what other countries will be used.
