While the porno thing is most likely BS, it would be interesting to see him attempt an erotic psychological mystery/thriller of some kind. I know people think of him as sort of a sexless filmmaker, but the possibility of him randomly making something in the vein of Eyes Wide Shut almost makes sense given the fact that the dude is obsessed with Kubrick (Interstellar of course wore its 2001 influence on its sleeve). Not saying it's a strong possibility at the moment since he seems primarily interested in pg-13 blockbusters right now... but you never what might happen down the line. I really want to see what sort of weird films a 70-year old Nolan would make.

Leo DiCaprio never got to make his adaptation of Brave New World with Ridley Scott. That would be exciting to see him do with Nolan. 10 years(!) since Inception as well.

1984 would be damn cool too.

It's been 5 and a half years since my last post here, but news of a new Nolan film brought me back! Gosh I can't wait. It's pretty cool that he's such an amazing director that just having his name attached to the movie will get me excited to see it.

I vote for a Ubik adaptation, with Jim Carrey :gonf:

I find it weird how you're all only discussing adaptions. Why wouldn't he continue making originals?

And also the fact that we might get both Bond and Hughes sometimes in the next 10-15 years, makes it even more obvious to me that this movie is another original script.

Again, what else is there to talk about? There's nothing to say about an Unitled Unknown Event Film. We know nothing. It's fun to speculate on things we're familiar with, even if we're all wrong.

I don't understand - is the board just supposed to be inactive until we know what the film is?

This board is not your personal playground to type out every thought that crosses your mind.

Ramblings about pre existing propertites are pointless. It's going to be original.

Hey, I never said that. I'm totally fine with spectulation, I just find it kind of absurd 100% of what is being "speculated" on are adaptations, when it seems way more likely to be an original. Speculation and dreaming are two different things.
