It's still his best score on Rotten Tomatoes since The Dark Knight.

Metacritic is at 94 based on 50 reviews, which is just staggering.

I feel so glad/relief that PHIL VILLARREAL gives Dunkirk a rotten mark

Dunkirk is more for criticks than normal people.

People dont like war/movie without screenplay, lead hero, dialogues, blood and visable enemy.

Dunkirk is not movie for everyone.

RT 171/16 91% 8.6

It could very well end up with similar to Inception's 86% on RT while staying above 90 on MC. That is pretty crazy polarization between the blogger critics and supposed top critics.

Yes. That's normal. MC is supposed to be lower than the Tomato percentage (RT is 86% for Inception). Dunkirk is looking at the exact opposite scenario where MC stays above 90 and RT percentage possibly goes down into the mid-80's.

The space between the elite critics and blogger critics are quite telling.

Also, I'm not surprised to see the people of youtube and such not liking this film at all.

RT score is irrelevant from this point forward. MC has spoken and the acclaim is rapturous.
