Yeah I would take all of that at face value as I remember there was a lot of insider hype for Interstellar too and people were convinced it would be a heavy Oscars front runner. And then it ended up being Nolans worst reviewed film.

Interstellar is my favorite Nolan film. To be fair I get more excited about films if it drew a polarized reception from critics. I think that tells me the film truly does some off the wall shit that won't sit well with everybody.

That's the attitude I'm taking with it as well. Better to just wait until official reviews are out.
