If Nolan were to do a Bond film, I think I'd rather have Pfister for cinematography. Hoytema did well with Spectre, but I feel like Pfister fits the style of Bond better. Just my thoughts
I agree i thought inception was exceptional .Bond would suit that kind of imagery. Where is pfister these days?
He has given up cinematography to direct.

No, please no. Spectre was one of the best looking Bond films ever.

It's far from my only favorite shot in this film, but I absolutely love that shot with James D'Arcy walking across the beach, towards the camera.

Seriously, words can't express just how much I adore this film's cinematography. Would be a crime if the Oscars didn't at least nominate this.

It certainly would be a crime.

Prepare the pitchforks and the torches, just in case.

He does mostly commercial stuff, here you can see some of the stuff he's done.
He is his own DP on commercials, so in a sense he is still DP'ing. Also almost every commercial he's shot is shot digitally. (same goes for Hoytema though)

A shot from the sequence where the soldiers are lying on the beach waiting.

It looked like the frame was being abused by the weather at one point.

Such an aggressive and tactile feel to it. Apocalyptic imagery.
