Edgar Wright has seen Dunkirk:

At around 7:20 he is asked what films he's looking forward to most for the rest of the year, he answered by saying there are two films he's seen that are yet to be released, both are great, and one of them is set in WW2. He signed a NDA, so he can't say more lol.

Wonder what PTA has to say about it. PTA, Wright, Nolan and Tarantino are always showing each other their films.

If Mr. Wright says it's great, it's probably great!

Ah, finally watched it. He was asked from the year, not summer. So, yeah, he probably has seen Episode 8.
