Yes, but Harry is on record saying he doesn't like to go on Twitter. I think he just tells his social media manager what to write.

Is there a chance that he had become accustomed to the US spelling, or no?

Love reading this as I recall all the negative comments on IMDB about Harry's involvement being credited only to his celebrity status. :D
Actually, I believed Nolan on this statement, I don't know why, but it sounded kinda sincere. Now, after I watched the film, I have mixed feelings about Styles's part in it. His performance is great, but
His part was so... maybe not small, but still not big. And he only got like 1 or 2 close-ups to show this "nuances" Nolan was talking about. I don't know... why showing a character from such a distance almost all the way, and then talk about how "nuarced" his performance really is. But Nolan added that not much amount people will see it. And he was damn right. Styles's performance was good, but it certainly wasn't a stand-out, as there simply wasn't any standout in this movie at all.
Not sure I agree. I expected Harry's part to be smaller. But after seeing the movie, I'm pretty sure he has more lines than Fionn (and more powerful lines than Fionn). So I would call his part big compared to most other actors'. Granted, that doesn't say much. But I'd say his character was more memorable than most (along with Branagh and Rylance, IMO). At least among the younger cast, he was a standout for me. Unlike Fionn's Tommy, who was just a blank average John, Harry's character was more fleshed out and seemed more like a real person.

No. I mean, there's a chance he's an alien, so of course there's a chance he's spelling the American way. But Harry still says 'got' instead of 'gotten' which is one of the first Americanisms British people tend to adopt. To explain further, British English doesn't have the form 'gotten', it's get, got, got. Just the other day he used 'got' instead of 'gotten'. I can't remember the context now, but it was just last week.

There's this letter he wrote in late 2015 in which he also used 'got' instead of 'gotten'.

I can't really find any instances of spelling in his twitter recently because he barely ever tweets, let alone something that might have two different spellings. The last instance I can find is 'favourite' in 2014. And yes, he spelt it 'our'. Most of his friends and family are British so I don't really see how he'd adopt American spelling

Besides, just... he's not on Twitter. He said so himself lmao. Someone was on his twitter and made a mistake just a few weeks ago and tweeted something that Harry would never tweet. There doesn't need to be an investigative force. Most celebrities aren't on twitter. Most celebrities like Harry, I mean. The ones that don't tweet personal stuff often and such. Obviously Kim Kardashian does her tweeting, but people like Beyoncé don't. I think Harry stopped tweeting himself last year.

What was the mistake?

They posted a promotional link, like the ones you use for albums and singles and quoted a fan's tweet with two pictures of one of his bandmates. It was really random. It wasn't like, a shameful mistake or anything. But yeah, there's no way he would tweet that. He doesn't randomly tweet pictures of anyone.

EDIT, to make it clearer:

Yeah, he was for sure hacked that one time. And just because he doesn't like twitter doesn't mean it's not him who's tweeting every once in a blue moon.

I think this is very important to him, he would have tweeted about it himself.
