Hardy's character is the best of the film, what a sacrifice he makes
That was emotional.

There is no MVP in this picture at all.

I expected Hardy to be the MVP, but after watching the movie, I don't think Hardy is the MVP
. I wasn't particularly impressed with Hardy’s acting, because most of the time it was impossible to even see his expression. He was anonymous for most of the movie. The role is cool at the end, but to be honest, any anonymous actor could have played that role just as well. Hardy was underused in the film.
All the characters are not fleshed out completely, but if I had to pick the MVP, it would be either Branagh or Rylance among the older cast, or Styles among the younger cast.
But there's no real MVP in this movie.

Rylance. I would gladly take a bullet or
a fall down the stairs
for him

Hardy (seems like the coolest one), then Rylance (elder wisdom ftw).

Branagh is usually my MVP but they call him Admiral Exposition here, which is extremely funny for numerous reasons.
