Did anyone else find him to be the most fascinating character in the film?
Dr. Mann
Yea he was a joy to watchAllstar wrote:Did anyone else find him to be the most fascinating character in the film?
still an asshole tho
He was a physical representation of Evil, and It was brilliant.
Nope, his character was completely unnecessary aside from being utilized for spectacle and perhaps get across certain ideas/themes. Was he originally in the script? Nolan should have cut that 10 to 15 minutes out completely to cut back the running time a bit...Allstar wrote:Did anyone else find him to be the most fascinating character in the film?
Awesome character. Damon killed it. When he walks away from Coop monologuing…. chills. Hell no he shouldn't have been cut. Added a whole other layer to the film and fleshed it out thematically. Fantastic third act beginning.
I like Matt Damon and his character too.

I really dont get why people say he should have been cut...his segment was the most fascinating part of the film...completed by the docking sequence
I don't think he represents evil as much as he represents human selfishness at its most desperate and cowardly.speakerzboomin wrote:He was a physical representation of Evil, and It was brilliant.
