I'm sure a lot of critics will draw similarities between the two, and there's no problem with that considering Nolan said he took direct influence from it. What really makes me laugh tho is when I'm scrolling through the twitter feed on Interstellar and people are like "So Interstellar is basically Gravity 2?" - oh hey both films are serious dramas in space, they must be the exact same thing! :lol:

Well, Nolan is frankly doing the film a disservice, no matter the quality. Comparisons dilute the discussion. Any film deserves to be evaluated on its own merits, and not merely in the shadow of its influences.
