Yes, but accretion disks are equatorial, so the disk in this image is the thin orizontal layer. I'm wondering about the halo
around the black hole. If there is such a disk there should be a companion star which probably causes the halo, I'm looking for confirmation.

What is up with that shot of an old looking David Giyasi. Very interesting. And then there is a shot of another spacecraft. And if I am not mistaken it might have something to do with a certain cameo.

Interesting. Well at least it wasn't awful generic trailer music. Hopefully big speakers refers to something other than pounding drums... we've had enough of those Hans.

some thoughts regarding the script translation after seeing the trailer...
oh, and it's just great to see how Nolan achieved some of the visual magnificence regarding all the space phenomena.
So, have all the trailers been taken down from YouTube or am I just losing my mind?

This image looks very similar to the one in the trailer and seems to show the accretion disk is not strictly horizontal. You'll also notice the accretion disks
connect in the shot from the trailer.
