"Peter Andrews"
In all seriousness, I'd go with either Jeff Croneweth or Emmanuel Lubezki.
Interstellar Cinematographer?
I still think John Toll is a worthy candidate.
My top choices as well. Lubezki is my definitive number 1 though.DreamPolice wrote:

Emmanuel Lubezk is my top choice.

Guys, Pfister said he's done with cinematography, and clearly TDKR was his last movie with Nolan; now he wants to be a director full time.OVERMAN wrote:do you know the exact production schedule for the film or what? just because Pfister's working on "Transcendence" doesn't mean he'll never work with Nolan as a DP again...
So, not available, get over it
And clearly I would not count DoPs who now work only with digital, like Cronenweth or Deakins..
I understand some people find it hard to let go of Wally, but you have to at this point. It's not really a bad deal. On one hand we get to see Wally direct a film himself which is definitely exciting, and we also get to see a Nolan film from a whole new perspective essentially. Pretty exciting if you ask me.

Wally ended with a cinematography?
Yeah, he's moved on to being a director. His upcoming movie, Transcendence, sounds awesome.Radim Koláček wrote:Wally ended with a cinematography?
Jeff Cronenweth (Fight Club, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, The Social Network).
