On the plus side. That's a pretty cool avvy.

What bugs me most is how out of focus it is. And the file size is really small.

I think it's kinda cool. Why is he letting them take him in? It has me thinking.. which is a good thing for a poster to do.

I MEAN ITS JUST A POSTER GUYS

WB put out a lack luster poster omg lol

None of the posters for TDKR were all that good

I wouldn't have minded a poster, we've already gotten a badass teaser poster.

But this is just shit, I mean they took a (bad) frame from the Comic Con trailer and pasted the name over it. I would have prefered a hotoshpped poster, it's almost like this was the scene playing in WB headquarters:

Mike: Hey Brad, the countdown's already at 100%, upload the trailer.

Brad: HOLY SH*T! I forgot! We can't upload the trailer, that's Hobbit-exclusive!

Mike: Do we have at least a trailer for a trailer with some footage, like in Marvel?

Brad: Yeah... but I forgot to compile it and now there's no time!

Mike: At least we give them a poster... you know... one which is cool? One of the fully rendered?

Brad: You kidding? Those don't come up 'till March buddy.

Mike: At least a teaser? Like the poster with Supes Logo on it?

Brad: NO TIME! I'll just take a frame from a trailer which leaked online, I'll paste 'Man of Steel' on it and I'll apply the 'Star Trek Lens Trademarked Lens Flare Effect Filter'. VoilĂ ! Crisis Averted.

Mike: But Brad-

Brad: CRISIS AVERTED.

The problem is not the quality of the poster per se, but the fact that they built hype for something which resulted in serious shit (imo).

Touché. What the poster is portraying is what Superman is all about. He has all this power at his fingertips and he could literally tear the planet in half if he wanted. But he has an even stronger head on his shoulders and the Kents raised him to be a man of good morals and ethics.

Oh hype... I had no idea they were releasing something today. With Superman it's better to just hang back. That is working much better for me.

I really like the poster.
