It could just be a cool camera effect.. I don't know the technological terms but it looks like the camera is moving in a way that makes it look like the guy is moving up

Looks like some kind of mech suit.

I was underwhelmed by the trailer. I wasn't expecting much to begin with but my reaction was just meh. The cinematography looks gorgeous and the short glimpse of Michael Shannon as the villain intrigued me.
