I hate that this will all boil down to DC/WB wanting to desperately compete with Marvel for $$$.

I will say, if you're looking at Marvel's live action films, DC's Animated division is kicking them in the ass. They're doing some phenomenal work that is just mopping the floor with Marvel.

Batman: Year One
Superman VS. The Elite
All-Star Superman
Batman: Under the Red Hood

These "cartoons" have writing that is making The Avengers look like after-school specials.
This is where DC is definitely at its strongest right now.
And the comics, well, they've always been kicking Marvel's ass. I can't even name a single Marvel graphic novel, let alone one that's had cultural impact like Watchmen or The Dark Knight Returns, or V For Vendetta, or Year One.

I couldn't agree more even though dc hasn't really put out a lot of live action movies like marvel has they have been dominating animation and comics a lot people that are not really comic fans know who the justice league are and who wonder woman, flash, and even aquaman

The New 52 has been excellent so far! I've actually been overwhelmed by certain titles (Batman, Animal Man, etc.).

I think DC/WB should focus solely on one thing: Whatever they make, make it great. Don't do something unless you know it's going to be high quality. And for god's sakes, don't rush anything or interfere (like Green Lantern). So far, I think DC has had an amazing track record. The only movies that have been underwhelming have been Green Lantern and Superman Returns, but they were by no means terrible movies... they just weren't great like Nolan's movies.

Justice League needs to be in the vein of the New 52 Origin story. But we can replace Aquaman with Martian Manhunter.

As long as it's not Justice League Mortal, I'm open to pretty much anything for a JLA movie.

I'm against a Justice League Film. People will start labeling it as a 'The Avengers' rip-off.

I prefer RedLetterMedia's What's Your Number shared universe theory.
