I was supposed to be getting married on the 22. Last monday when tickets went on sale I purchased five tickets with my fiance's debit card (she of course knew I did because we were soon going to be married and sharing expenses.) I got five at for my local IMAX and was ready to go.

Wednesday she decides to call off the wedding. Amidst me trying to convince her otherwise and my begging slash pleading, in the back of my mind was the tickets. I had to get the tickets. I just needed to get to a kiosk at the theater to print them... So it becomes increasingly clear that she is dead serious and she is indeed calling it off. So later that evening after things had cooled down for me and I had mostly come to terms with what had happened, I climbed in my car went for a drive to the imax and printed off those five tickets.

Technically they should be hers. BUT i figured, now she has no way of enjoying this movie because it will just remind her of me because I was so damn passionate about this movie..sooo the tickets should go to me anyways. Either way I feel slightly sketchy about it, I don't think she would care though. But that is my story (instead of a pictures) of me getting my midnight tickets.

It makes you the best person.

I agree, although I hope the reason for calling off the wedding didn't have to do with his passion for the movie. Anyway, my girlfriend has pretty much accepted that this movie is more important to me than life itself. Just the thought of TDKR can get me through a shitty day, and I often half-jokingly think to myself, "Must...live...until...July 20." I think she's looking forward to it as well, but because it's the last movie and my obsession and anticipation will have to come to an end. She has put up with it for 4 and a half years (we started dating in early '08 - I remember getting the Joker reveal shirt around that time). The joke's on her though... I still watch TDK on a pretty regular basis and this one will be no different. That's love.

I have the same problem. I just upload to another site (such as Facebook) and then post the link to the url of the image, surrounded by the Img code. Anyone know why we're experiencing this issue?
