Now, while TDK, BB and (Almost definately) TDKR will be famous for their resurrection of Batman, the movie's grittiness and dark themes, occasional bits of humour were thrown in.
Alfred in BB and TDK obviously has most of it, (mostly making light of the fact how much of a billionaire Wayne is, and how stupid the idea of being a person in a Bat-suit is) but sometimes other characters (particularly Batman sometimes has a very dry wit about him)
There are criticisms about the inclusion of the humour (the tone sometimes doesn't allow it to excell as much as it should have) and Batman didn't pull off his "I'm not wearing Hockey Pants line" as well as he should've (mainly because it sounded like this: IMNOTWEARINGHOCKEYPANTSURGGHSGGHGH)
So here's my question...
Where do you think TDKR will be in terms of humour? Will there be any attempts? Who will be the main comedy-giver?
We all saw in the trailer that Batman and Catwoman will be half-flirting (shown by the strangers comment in the Bat-Wing) and Batman hasn't lost his dry wit (IT'SNOTACARURGHG) but will there be any more attempts?
The joker certainly inserted black comedy in TDK, but I doubt Bane can have expert comedic timing with pipes all around his mouth (he also doesn't seem like he would be up for some 'gags').
