Eh, I might see it on Sunday night. Less crowds
You know for a while there, I thought you really were Dent. The way you threw yourself after her.

By "debating," I mean I've already decided and it's now just a matter of convincing my girlfriend. It's 2 hours away, but it's the closest 70mm IMAX theater that isn't a dome, and the others are science centers that only show documentaries/educational films. I called to confirm that they would be screening it (I assumed they would since they had the prologue, which I missed out on) and to make sure the theater still uses a film projector and hasn't been converted to digital. I was told to check back around the first week of July to purchase tickets. I've never been to an IMAX theater and would love my first experience to be The Dark Knight Rises. Are any of you familiar with that theater (how nice is it, when should I plan on arriving, etc)? More generally, how is the IMAX experience?

Apparently AMC is doing a trilogy marathon for the premiere. Not sure if want. I'd be afraid I'd just get exhausted by the time TDKR even starts and wouldn't enjoy it as much.

We have no reserved seating at my IMAX. My dad, my brother, and went to MI4 and got there a half hour early. Big, big mistake. I'll be getting there an hour and half early there this time. Especially with a movie that's twice as big as MI.

I'll get the tickets on the day the tickets go on sale for IMAX. I'll be at the theater 2 hours early to avoid a massive crowd like this:

Hyped for: Interstellar, Man of Steel, Pacific Rim
Listening to: Hybrid Theory
Playing: Injustice
Watching: Arrow

I'm nervous to say the least. AMC's online ticket sales begin at noon on June 11th, and they have the only IMAX theater in my area for miles. First I have to watch the site like a hawk that day and see if I even get midnight tickets at all, then I'll probably show up at the theater two hours early or so. Unless I decide to go through with the marathon thing. Still debating.

Well I must say that it was the best nights on chat I have had in a while - and I didn't even see the film yet.
It was great seeing the goofy grins on the faces of those returning from the screening. Good Times were had.
