Just because you want that to happen does not mean it's going t happen. Better be cautious and wait for the film to come out before you get your expectations too high...you might find Nolan's films to be devoid of sexual tension (except Memento). I also think sexualizing catwoman is denying her the ability to become a real character beyond the fetish. So as long as there's flirting with sexual undertones that's fine by me. If she starts taking her clothes off it's just gonna sit awkwardly with the rest of this very serious film.ComptonTerry wrote:Meaning, Nolan usually doesn't have good female characters. Usually not very attractive, at least in his Batman films. So, for that reason nothing was meant to be sexualized... but this is Catwoman. I think stating Catwoman needs to be overtly sexualized (but not in the sense that she is just a sex symbol, she is much more, but like it or not that is a part of her overall appeal.) is stating the obvious. I want to see Nolan do that for once. Non of his movies have ever even reached the limits of PG13 in that sense.Batfan175 wrote:
i'm sorry but I interpreted the words "there had better be something" as "there had better be something or else...", which sounds like making demands but if I misread it i'm sorry.
Interpret that however you wish.

She can be sexualized without becoming cliche. That is the way of the source material, and it is the best way. And I do not think it's just what I want, but what most people generally looking for. Your acting like I am doing something wrong by wanting Nolan to make an interesting and attractive female character, something he has failed to do with Batman. Actually the only time he really has in my opinion was Natalie in Memento. Selina is a very different game than that and what I am saying is I hope Nolan can handle it all without backing down. And I do not mean like taking her clothes off, not that I would mind it, but yeah I get your point. I am not looking to turn Batman into a porno here.Batfan175 wrote:Just ecause you want that to happen does not mean it's going t happen. better be cautious and wait for the film to come out before you get your expectations too high. A general trait of Selina is someone who teases though. She is seductive. Very seductive. Nolan has never created a seductive female character. Writing love interests has not been his strong point, as much as I love him. I have not minded that in the past either, but Selina/ Catwoman is a chance he cannot miss. He chose a very good person to act it and the rating says "sensuality". Good signs so far, but "sensuality" is somewhat vague. Well see what happens. I lean towards Nolan being able to do it, despite people saying he could never write an interesting female character. The issue for me is he only has once, and Natalie was more of somebody we were meant to hate. Selina cannot be a love to hate character.

Can I get a link to where it says it's PG-13? I'm making a big deal out of this, but I want to know whether this is real or bulls**t.
Cause on the website, it says the film is not yet rated.
