How is that depressing?

Because of all the characters in the film, the Catwoman character has the biggest possibility as coming across as over the top...just seeing a woman whoop numerous dudes twice her size is far-fetched, but seeing a woman in a cat suit is even moreso. Maybe if she was trained by a group of ninjas for years on end, then perhaps, it might be more believable.

I'm just overly concerned about a girl who is rail thin walking around whooping people's asses and it fit within the Batman world that Nolan has created with his past two Batman movies.

I didn't, that's why myself, along with a lot of others, including many on this board, were very concerned after the announcement of Catwoman in Nolan's last Batman film. It's nearly impossible to bring in a woman in a catsuit and have her whoop ass and make it even semi believable. They were able to do it with Batman because they used Batman Begins as an origin story, there won't be nearly enough time in this film to make the audience believe that Selina Kyle has these set of skills to whoop ass and take names.
