Hmmm, but TDK's ending made up for that, though. Loved that ending.

I think they are more worried about the supposed "hard ending" than anything else.

And besides, the "third act is messy" stuff was during pre-production, I think. If it really was, I'm sure it's been fixed by now anyway.

^This. And ''they'' being the suits... I'm not worried at all. TDKR > Everything else, and I'm being rational here. 8-)
Hey, it's easy to talk like that since we're mounted on all these glorious pictures and trailers... for movies that are coming before TDKR, duh. Just relax and enjoy it, our last months of waiting for a Chris Nolan film. Official stuff will hit us, sooner than we think.

I love the ending as well and BB ending was good as well.
Nolan's last scene is always amazing.

Batman Begins I have to say a pretty silly Third Act when judged in a certain way. It's not that I don't like it, there are a lot of things I like about it, but I think the doomsday plot device of the fear toxin in the water supply, and especially the stolen microwave emitter, all seemed like a bad idea compared to the rest of the movie. It's was a silly doomsday scenario, and it's really the only Nolan film that has anything like it. Batman Begins is awesome, I think it is a lot better than most comic book movies. It beats any single one of Ramis Spiderman in my opinion, as well as most other things, but it still does have a fair amount of "cheese"... ESPECIALLY when you compare it to TDK.

Now I love the ending to TDK, even though it is the most flawed over all act in the movie. Mainly the ferries and that's about it. I love the concept of the Jokers ferry plot but I don't think it was executed that great. The extra's they used certainly were not that convincing. Regardless, TDK ending was near perfect. The last scene with Joker was awesome, and then the cliffhanger ending was perfect.

I think TDKR ending will be an even bigger improvement.

You're just going to post ''nah'' in every second thread? Reported by default, but I couldn't care less.
