Batman Begins I have to say a pretty silly Third Act when judged in a certain way. It's not that I don't like it, there are a lot of things I like about it, but I think the doomsday plot device of the fear toxin in the water supply, and especially the stolen microwave emitter, all seemed like a bad idea compared to the rest of the movie. It's was a silly doomsday scenario, and it's really the only Nolan film that has anything like it. Batman Begins is awesome, I think it is a lot better than most comic book movies. It beats any single one of Ramis Spiderman in my opinion, as well as most other things, but it still does have a fair amount of "cheese"... ESPECIALLY when you compare it to TDK.
Now I love the ending to TDK, even though it is the most flawed over all act in the movie. Mainly the ferries and that's about it. I love the concept of the Jokers ferry plot but I don't think it was executed that great. The extra's they used certainly were not that convincing. Regardless, TDK ending was near perfect. The last scene with Joker was awesome, and then the cliffhanger ending was perfect.
I think TDKR ending will be an even bigger improvement.
