Do you think the Voice requires editing?

No, I hear him fine/ I want the voice to stay as it is because it is important to the performance

Yes, they need to edit the voice, because I will be irritated when i can't fully make out what Bane is saying

One would think this would be obvious...

A lot of people had no problems at all understanding Bane.

I just saw the prologue today in IMAX Finally! I was able to understand Bane for the most part though I did miss a couple things and I heard several people say they couldn't hear what Bane was saying afterwards.

The Prologue first off was breathtaking. I had no issue with Bane's voice. If they can tweak it a tad in a way that won't disturb the performance then I'm all for it. But I think it just takes a little close listening to understand. It is intelligible in my opinion. It's just a bit muffled with the mask. I think a lot of it has to do with the noise on the plane. Because he sounds perfectly fine in the trailer.

So I really don't think anything needs to be done with it. Seriously, I think a lot of it has to do with a brand new voice your not used to hearing any you can't see his mouth and it's an unusual accent. I'd say after a couple repeat viewings it would be fine.

I trust Nolan to make the best decision. But I'll be honest, I am bias and will back what he decides.

I've only seen the bootleg of the prologue, so that means that the only thing I've heard with really good audio is the official trailer and Bane only has one line in that. I didn't find him hard to understand in either really, but I can see where some folks might.

Also, a lot of people listen with their eyes. Sometimes when you can see a person's mouth, lines you might have missed make sense because you can see those words being formed. Not being able to see Banes mouth is definitely a drawback. Same thing with Vader, Spidey, etc.

My 2 cents.

There's nothing wrong with the voice. Let's move on.

I take back what I said before about sympathizing with people not understanding the voice. Just watched the prologue for a second time after seeing it earlier today and understood everything Bane said perfectly. It just takes a second watch. It's not going to kill people to listen up and pay attention.

There's nothing wrong with the voice.
