Just mixed a movie version of Risen From Darkness (only thing that's different is the first 50 seconds or so)

I swear the chant section was different in the film, though it could've just been the bass of the cinema speakers.

Really nice fan edit someone sent me yesterday. Couple of bits are off though (eg. that bit from "Despair" is faster to match the main theme in the actual film), but a phone audio recording of the credits should be online soon so I'll throw together a proper mix.

Hey peeps,

I did a little mix with two soundtracks. I let you the surprise of discovering which ones. :P I'm not entirely satisfied with it so be honest. I accept criticism as long as it's constructive.

Hans Zimmer's TDKR Soundtrack

can someone put the soundtrack in order from film?
I know Gotham's Reckoning is when Bane and his men highjack the plane
I know The Fire Rises is when Bane does his speech and blows up the football field
I know Born In Darkness is Ra's al Ghul's and Talia's origin story
I know Why Do We Fall is when Bruce is climbing up the well and he finally escapes
Nothing Out is when Bruce is searching up on Selina
Imagine the fire is the final Battle between Batman and Batman
Necessary evil when mirander reveals herself as Talia
Rise is the end
I just don't which order they go in or where in the movie the rest happened

I think it goes something like this:

-A Storm is Coming (opening credits)
-Gotham's Reckoning (prologue + police underground)
-On Thin Ice (Harvey Dent day)
-Mind If I Cut In? (Selina's introduction)
-Nothing Out There (Bruce in the Batcave)
-Fear Will Find You (Batman and Selina fight Thugs on the rooftop + Bat flight)
-The Fire Rises (the majority of it is used for Bane's takeover of Gotham + speech)
-Born in Darkness (Bruce wakes up in the pit)
-Underground Army (Special Ops come to Gotham + Gordon gets captured + winter scenes)
-Why Do We Fall? (Bruce escapes the pit)
-Death By Exile (kangaroo court scene)
-Despair (Batman takes down mercs, burning Bat-symbol)
-Imagine the Fire (final showdown)
-Necessary Evil (Talia reveal)
-Rise (ending scene)

It didn't sound too great but I think that's more to do with the chant sample used. Simply speeding it up or layering it wouldn't do the trick, the way it was in the film it sort of grew more desperate and frantic.

I wanted to try something inspired by the film but it indeed didn't turn out good.

I did another big mix of soundtracks from the three movies. You'll have to guess which is which.

Underground Army wasn't in the Gordon capture scene and Imagine the Fire wasn't used in the film at all (as I predicted it wouldn't, just like Like A Dog Chasing Cars wasn't used despite being the most epic song on THAT soundtrack).

But yeah, pretty good list. I'll add a couple more to flesh it out.

The Fire Rises - (first part: beginning of motorcycle chase AND cops charging the mercenaries AND beginning of Batman/Bane's second fight;

second part: Bane in the stock exchange AND Bane walking out onto the football field;

third part: middle/end of Batman/Bane's second fight).

All Out War - (used during the preparation the day before Batman returns to Gotham, when Blake rounds up a bunch of cops and Gordon's like that's it? Where's Foley dammit?)

No Stone Unturned - (full uncut version of the Talia/Batman/Catwoman chase at the end, starting with Talia leaving the courthouse about 1 minute into the song).

Risen from Darkness - (starts the moment the lights begin to go out in the tunnel during the stock exchange chase)

The Shadows Betray You - (not used in the film)
Personally I have a theory that it was meant to be used in the Bane/Batman fight in the sewers, because of the title. I mean, Like A Dog Chasing Cars was supposed to be used in the TDK car chase and it actually fits pretty perfectly. Here, however, I've tried matching up the song to the fight onscreen and it doesn't fit, so maybe it's a good thing that it wasn't used. Regardless, it's a superior version of Underground Army for me.

The End - (not used in the film).
I think this was gonna be a less dramatic alternative version of Rise that might be played over the last 6-7 minutes of the film. I personally like it better than Rise because Rise is just a copypasta of A Dark Knight from the TDK soundtrack. Nevertheless, The End still shows up in the middle of the end credits so technically it is "in the film".

Bombers Over Ibiza - (not used in the film duh, remix of The Fire Rises).

Bane Suite - (in order: stock exchange/football stadium, cops face off against the mercenaries, cops charge the mercenaries, Bane and Batman begin fighting; the next 7 minutes or so aren't used in the film. The last 7-8 minutes are of Bane arriving at Blackgate, giving his speech, and taking over the city via montage.)

Orphan Suite - (it's the middle section of Rise).

Wayne Manor Suite - (it's On Thin Ice, plus the unused parts of Imagine the Fire, plus the part where Batman and Selina go through the sewers to locate Bane.)

Selina Kyle Suite - (the part where Selina meets with Daggett's man to sell him the prints.)

There's STILL unreleased music from the movie. There's an alternate (slower and more intense) version of the beginning of Nothing Out There that plays when the cops chase the mercenaries out into the street during the Selina-fingerprints-bar scene.

Anyone have any idea where the first half of "Despair" is from? That frantic sounding music. Couldn't think of it being anywhere.
