" i havent" is not the same as "i cant, anymore"

so, no....it sounds like Alfred is blaming himself for what happens to Bruce.

Gosh I hope he won't die. I don't want Gordon and Alfred to die

I haven't seen Alfred being so emotional since BB, when he said: ''It's not just your name, sir! It's your father's name! And it's all that's left of him. Don't destroy it.'' - one single line from TDKR trailer makes me so sad. Glad to see Bruce and Alfred stealing some well deserved spotlight - after all this is Bruce's story, he'll be the core of everything this time, Bane, Catwoman and
Talia
are just damn good Distractors.

Michael Caine told THR

"Batman has very good actors in it, but it’s all about the special effects," he tells THR. "A film like this is about the people. It’s more interesting as an actor."

Maybe Michael Caine has sour grapes over his role in the movie. He probably has some elaborate death involving special effects.

It's Michael f-ing Caine. He could say TDKR sucks monkey testicles and I would still watch any and every movie he is in.

I'm not sure how to take this. He can't be referring to batman when he says it's all about the fx. And if he is then he contradicts himself in the next line.

This must be taken out of context. I think when he's saying that it's all about the special effects he's referring to films in general.
