I completely agree. Michelle gave a great performance. It's the character itself that's overrated.

Yeah. Burton's writing screwed up the character IMO. He went way overboard into Burtonland for BR. That's why I do like the original Batman 89. It wasn't filled with too many "Burtonisms." Burton went typical Burton for BR, and that ruins it for me. Michelle did a great job with what she had, though.

Nah, the only reason Returns is the infinitely watchable of the Burton/Schumacher movies is because of how Burton it is. I mean, come on. Militant penguins? So killer.

Actually she looks like she's just landed on her nees and just stood up while kinda backing off in the same time, which explains her hair being in the air (hair being in the air suggests she's either stood up very fast or shaked her head, probably the first).
