I'm going by the assumption that he has actual colleagues that he talks to at the GCPD that aren't his superior.

I don't think there's any Joe hate...it is just the fact that a lot of the time Joe comes off as overzealous. That isn't hate, that is very factual. He is a showman and I know that it is his personality but he hasnt figured out quite when not to be that way yet. That's not hate. You just sound like a Joe fangirl.

I said basically the same thing as you and you still call me a fangirl. Anyways, it's not just this instance. I've been watching the boards for a over a year before joining and couldn't help but notice that Joe is the most picked on actor out of all the cast. I've no idea why, but it's just a fact. It's useless defending him, obviously, but I had to say something. Oh well, back to lurking it is.

I think Anne has actually gotten the most hate, but yeah, there's is something there. I think they're just getting the most criticism because they're the biggest new parts of the franchise. Hardy is too, obviously, but a lot more skepticism has ended up focused on his voice or characterization than him personally. I also think it has something to do with everyone liking British things on this forum.

But no, people on here love Joe. And Anne. And everyone on the cast. And if you don't then you have doubted our savior Christ Nolan and can feel free to leave.

Her role is also a much higher caliber than John Blake.

lol see you on the 20th troll.

Anyway, Gary was not offended in the slightest. Him and Joe seem to get along great. Anyone who thinks otherwise is looking at things that are not there and are in their mind.

Maybe it's like Internal Affairs calling Harvey "Two-Face" only not as malicious? I can see Foley calling Blake "Robin" playfully.

Either way, it just sounds like a really forced way to incorporate it.

It sort of does, but it might be really subtle in the movie. Just a really small event that's not pounded into your head, and that makes sense in the context of the film.

I'm a big JGL fan and felt he gave an Oscar worthy performance in last year's 50/50. Yet, I feel like his character in Inception was wooden and a bit plain, with little personality. Now, I've only seen a few clips of him from The Dark Knight Rises, but his mannerisms and acting seem to be similar. Anyone else feel this way?
