Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake

I think if he were to be Robin his name would actually be "Dick Grayson" and not "john blake." I'm pretty positively sure that Robin isn't going to be in the film. Like I said on here months ago...it would be cool if part of the ending Bruce Wayne meets a teenage orphan on his steps that someone in the Wayne foundation brought to Bruce (however the story leads to that, part of Bruce's philanthropic thing) and he took him in. His name is Dick Grayson. Cause I figure if we're supposed to envision in our minds what a 4th film would be like, especially since Bruce will be 40 or a little older we could see a Robin fitting in there. Yes, for the literal readers I know there isn't going to be a 4th one but if Bruce doesn't die, I figure Nolan would leave it open for interpretation that there is the possibilities that Batman will be around in the future and possibly with Robin.

JOHN BLAKE ISN'T ROBIN!!!!

He will be a local patriotic cop who hates criminals and the corupt, but is skeptical of the Batman.

I know this has been said before (and believe me I wont be the last to say it) but I think its fair to say "John Blake" will be Nolan's interpretation of Robin. He will never become Robin (and I don't want him too because I don't f****** like Robin) but his character will be Robin like. He will be a great asset to Batman in the final acts of the movie. At first he wont trust him, but once he learns the truth he will

i definitely think its possible he's nolan's interpretation of robin, and the more i think about it, the more excited i get about the possibility. who's with me?!
