i really had written off the possibility of JGL being in TDKR

If I was JGL, I'd be pretty pissed that there was this much discussion and speculation about appearing in Nolan's final Batman film and then not actually being in it. 
I wish Nolan would work with someone new like Sam Rockwell or something.
