And that's especially because it would add to this movie completing the full circle of the Dark Knight legacy, what with Bane growing up with a tragic past, mirroring Bruce since he had a tragic past too.

Bane's tragic past doesnt have to be growing up in a prison in a hispanic country

please forgive my ignorance, but with the assumption that Bane's origin is going to mentioned and that it is from some Hispanic country...does Bane actually fit the description of a Hispanic male? I'm not attempting to come across as stereotypical here, but he's lightly skinned with (from what I remember from the prologue) light colored eyes. Now, perhaps there are plenty of Hispanic males with these traits, although certainly not the majority, so just throwing that out there...no disrespect intended whatsoever.

"The classic term is associated with Spain (Hispania). Modern definition refers to countries once dominated by Spain -Mexico, Central and South America, the Antilles. Since the peoples in this area are descended from a race that originated in what is now Mongolia, they tend to have tan skin, dark eyes that are not quite round, and straight black hair-similar to other Asians."

Perhaps there's a more distinct difference between Latino and Hispanic.

there's no evidence that Bane will actually be from a hispanic country, only that Hardy considered the caribbean roots in his creation of the accent, among other things

Bane in the comis, is actually half British, half Santa Priscan...and he is portrayed as being white.

There are "white" people in Hispanic countries. It depends on your genes.

some hispanic people are actually pretty white. This one guy that shot a mini film with me once (it wasn't spectacular but was actually pretty good in the end) is 100% Mexican but doesn't look like it at all.
