Me being 18 has something to do with me liking Avatar more? That makes no sense, unless you're saying that nostalgia is the only reason you're rating it higher?
it doesn't have anything to do with nostalgia, BAN proved to be faithfull to the character(s), the story brought a lot of insight to human values and emotions that nobody cared to show since fucking Charlie Brown, Avatar is just pathetic deguised mainstream, whatever inside the characters show you has the sole purpose to entertain, oh and the story is just... well it's only for kids.

Are you kidding me? Avatar is one of the most original, artistic, funny, and beautiful piece of work I've seen in a long time. The animation is great, the fight scenes are great, and it has so many core human values that are detailed perfectly (especially Zuko). The characters, writing, and story are all fantastic and DEFINITELY not just for kids. Jeez, its not like I'm trashing B:TAS, its a great show, one of the best. :|

And this isn't part of my argument, I'm just wondering if you've seen the entire 3 seasons of Avatar? It sounds like you really hate it and usually people who hate things don't stick around for the rest of the show.

lol, I saw the 2 first seasons, probably missed some episodes here and there sure and the three last episodes, and is funny because is people who is so hyped that can't see how superficial are certain things.
and yeah, a lot of people may know about the series but not many... over the age of 16 would say the same thing you're saying.

The words 'fire' and 'gasoline' spring to mind.

Seriously though, I personally think Christian had the whole package whereas while Keaton's Batman was fine, his Bruce Wayne was all wrong. So I'm pretty much in agreement with the article. 8-)
Very true words

Bale is the definitive Batman/Bruce Wayne beyond doubt.

Just the epitome of a typical Tim Burton fan that's sprinkled throughout IMDB and various comment sections that involve topical articles.
Everyone is entitled to their opinions of course but at least give some credence to your remarks. Back it up! It seems the basic formula for the "Keaton backers" is to give voice and run away such as "Keaton was better"

Nothing more?

Because they're afraid of the truth which in this case is that anyone who has any knowledge of the characterization of the Modern/New Earth Batman knows that Christian Bale's take on the character in the Nolan films mirrors the hero labeled in the comics since 'Year One'

And with that I can add Bale is the best

what i'd like to see on "rises" is a more deep and concentrate Bruce Wayne. A more insightful view on the character and a proper interpretation of the MAN by Bale. He can and must do this.

Everyone talks about his Wayne, which is infinitely superb, but I think if you watched the Batman scenes from both films (Begins and '89) I think it's pretty easy to see who is the better Batman (Bale IMO). Bale is much more intimidating in that suit, his voice is scarier. I mean, from the criminal point of view, you might actually question whether this is a man or not.

I can't agree more about the BAT, but i'm really requesting a more convincing Wayne. Absolutely.

Christian Bale is a brilliant Bruce Wayne, a combo with the writing and the acting.

Keaton wasn't Bruce Wayne at all, and I blame that on the terrible writing. There wasn't any suffering that he went through. We see him drop off a bunch of flowers at the place were his parents were killed, but that's as far as they go on that topic.
I'd have to rewatch the movies, but didn't Vicky Vale have to research that his parents were killed? What kind of reporter in Gotham doesn't know one of the biggest headlines in the history of Gotham?
