In fact, I can't remember/bebotheredtofind the interview, but Bale pretty much said: "There are three sides to Bruce. There's the Batman, the public playboy and in TDKR he'll get to truly be himself too."

I think as much as defeating Bane is 'rising', Bruce being able to be honest with himself and Gotham will be his 'rising'. He'll be unmasked as Batman, have his playboy life destroyed, but his ideals to preserve justice and save lives will still prevail.
In fact, for Bruce to truly become a hero he must be unmasked. He must become more than Batman.

Is it just me or does Bruce Wayne's shoulders looks alot more broader compare to previous films? Seen on the new TV spot that came out the other day?

Anybody else notice how strung out Bruce looks after he comes back? I'm referring to the scene with Freeman where he tells him to get him back in the game. He looks gaunt and sick, like a junkie. And he carries himself with a complete no-nonsense attitude. It seems like he is not in the mood for his joke when he says "did you remember where you parked it?"
