Bale has to be very strong in the movie...in TDK he was very thin for my taste.
And I hope to see him more times without the shirt.
Christian has to be "yummiest" than ever in TDKR. :twisted:

Well I think since he had just finished the Machinist, his initial weight gain might have been overkill. If you watch the BB interviews and stuff on DVD, then they say that Bale was, at one point, too big for the role when he was gaining weight. He then had to to lose a little bit. So the past 6 years has been a weight roller coaster for him.

I think part of the reason he is so big is because he has a lot of body fat. He looks visibly "bigger" in BB than in TDK, but I think that's the way to go for him. :thumbup:

That interview is classic. The interviewer and Bale keep going back and forth, even arguing through a large chunk of it, but they both seem to be having a blast.
