I feel like we've talked a lot about Hathaway and Hardy getting Oscar noms. But what about Cotillard? I'm hoping she breaks out quite the performance. Who knows?

Especially if she is able to transform her performance accordingly between Talia and Tate.

I'm not sure I can see her giving an Oscar type performance, tbh. Honestly I don't get the hype over her casting. Her past performances haven't impressed me that much. She isn't a bad actress but she usually brings herself into whatever role she's playing a little too much. She plays herself and she doesn't have very great range. I'm surprised Nolan thought her performance in Inception was good enough to bring her back a second time. On the plus side, she has some great mammaries.

I think the hype comes from her being a really hot French Woman. I'm down with that. As an actress, I'll take her or leave her. She's been cast, it's a done deal. That's fine.

It would of been kind of cool if Nolan gave someone else this role like Melanie Laurent imo but I obviously am not complaining and am sure Marion will be great in the role, it just might of been more exciting to see Laurent.
