How Nolan can shoot 3D if he's an achromate?

He has a point there. Whilst you get objects coming out of the screen at you, the glasses actually darken the picture somewhat. Personally I'm kinda torn over 3-D. There is enjoyment to be had with the format, the first film I seen in 3-D was Monsters vs Aliens and it was really something and Avatar was a tremendous visual experience, but at the same time I'm old fashioned and whilst adding another dimension to proceedings adds considerably, it isn't necessary. Chris filmed Inception in 2-D and it was still one hell of a visual ride.
