Hardy. Not only did he have the most physically challenging role because of the mask, but Hardy took a character that could have been one-dimensional and turned him into something iconic and very much compelling and human...and, in the end, sympathetic.

Tough question for a movie full of great talent.

If we are going by full career accomplishments, there is little debate it's Michael Caine.

If we mean overall talent potential I'd personally lean towards Tom Hardy.

And finally if the criteria is who is the best actor at this moment I'd go with Christian Bale.

Either Bale or Hardy.

I think i'll go for Bale' just because love his acting as Wayne in TDKR.
