Honestly, who gives a damn. TDKR is far more compelling, ballsy, complex, intimate, realistic, carefully crafted, well-thought-out, mature, deep, non-cliched, intelligent film. Avengers, looking back, is honestly popcorn. I learned NOTHING from it.

Box office is only because of Avengers having 3D. I bet without the 3D Avengers would have gone down.
