We all know that The Dark Knight is claimed to be the best comic book movie ever made. We all probably expect that TDKR will be even better... But there are many reviews which claim that TDKR does not top TDK. What do you think?
The 2012 superhero epic about Batman's struggle to overcome the terrorist leader Bane, as well as his own inner demons.
Of course it will physically top it. It is going to be massive. It is going to be spectacularly epic, powerful and emotional. But I doubt it will reach the intimate and haunting, dazzling power of the Dark Knight--simpy because of Heath's performance. And why should it?
Me too... and It will.Mr. Caine wrote:I fully expect it to top it.
TDKR will be most epic, most dinamic and most emotional of the three... and this is the conclusion.

The general audience (which really includes most critics) won't like it quite as much as TDKR because it appears the middle section of the film is going to have a lot of intense and complex story moments that tie the trilogy together that the GA just wont understand. As for people here who have followed Bruce Wayne's epic story arc since Begins and really understand the character, those intense story driven middle scenes wont be boring but will enlighten us and make perfect sense of everything. So, I would say for the true Trilogy fans, Rises will top TDK, but for the rest TDK will be better because they just wont understand or be too interested in the middle section (most of them anyways).

After all that hype, I think TDK will be considered slightly better film than TDKR, of course because of Heath, but TDKR will be pretty much close! As for me I guess, I prefer TDKR more, because Bruce Wayne story in TDK is not that great and Joker pulls the blanket over himself hurting other characters, it is not going to happen in TDKR, all ones will be on the same high level more or less.
