Favorite shots:
Image
-During Bane and Bruce's conversation in the pit, the view of it from Bane's perspective
Image
-Tracing shot of Catwoman on the Batpod

It's a shame the shot of Bruce walking into the party didn't make it to the film.

This pic of Bane is indeed my favorite shot as well. Having it in his first scene just set the overall tone for his character, showing his darkness (the choice of the Tight Black Sweater of Sex helped with that visual) and power, almost like he is defying gravity and molding it to his purpose. It sets him up as one above (literally) everyone else with his strength and his intellect (he masterminded this amazingly daring extraction, putting himself in the middle of it, not simply sending others to do his work).

What I loved about this shot was the camera movement, the way they rotate the shot to give the chaos in the background even more of a chaotic feel while keeping Bane in the center of it with his angry, searching eyes trying to locate Bate.

They did an overall great job with the camera angles they use on Bane to make Hardy look larger than he is (he's only 5'9"), often shooting upward on him, like in both of these shots we posted.

My favorite shot in the film without question is when batman turns around after being knocked up the stairs in the final battle w bane and for lack of a better phrase "stands his ground". Maybe its the context of the shot at that point in the story but its framed/shot very similarly to the scene were bane is walking up the stairs in the sewer fight. In the first fight bruce lets out a primal scream in desperation/frustration as hes trying to will himself against a far superior oppnent, knowing he stands no chance. In the second fight, after being knocked around a bit, he does this sort of turn-around and stands completely defiant and confident to bane that gives me this feeling thats hard to articulate. Its a great moment completely contrasting Batman/Bruce from his darkest hour to his finest, that makes the little kid in me almost giddy. Maybe someone much savier than myself could post the pics or gifs on here to help illustrate my point? sorry for the rambling

Nevermind I figured it out!

While the final battle, The rotating shot around Bane is simply MARVELOUS! so fantastic.

There's too many great moments to name. The shots of Batman being surrounded / chased down the street by a fleet of police cars was amazing. This moment looked pretty amazing in IMAX:

Also the final battle had some great cinematography.

I think its safe to say that the cinematography (among everything else) was beyond amazing, and every shot was jizz worthy. Thank you, Wally

The funny thing is, if you look closely the camera doesn't even rotate. It just pans right to left. Bane also moves side to side a little bit to fill up both sides of the frame. Still an amazing way to portray chaos in the surrounding environment, and that part looks frickin' amazing in IMAX

and that makes it more fantastic as we see it's not just the cinematography what is brilliant but, also the directional-notes and actor implying act. So perfect!
