philosophy paper using Memento as a the topic. And yes, i do know there is a whole book of essays entitled "Memento and Philosophy." I am currently reading this collection of essays and so far my idea hasn't been mentioned as a full essay. the title of the paper I'm working on now is called "Memento's and Truth" and is going to discuss the philosophical idea of truth and reality in terms of memento. but enough about my nolan based accomplishments.
Interesting paper. I would completely agree that Nolan is an auteur. Memento is easily considered one of the most original movies of the decade for which he received a screenplay nomination, and The Dark Knight completely transcended the superhero genre. Every superhero that comes out from now on will be compared without a doubt to The Dark Knight. The fact that Nolan hasn't made a whole bunch of films yet is because he is so particular and he can't be committed to a project if he doesn't believe it will succeed. That is a quality I admire in a filmmaker and he has set benchmarks for cinema that very few directors can match.

Who in the world would you most like to punch in the face? (Fight Club question)

If you could have a super hero power what would it be and why?

What would it take for you to shave your head right now? Answer something other than money.

What's the most dangerous thing you've ever done?

What is the worst dare you ever completed?

And finally
What question are you most hoping that I don't ask?

2 - What do you think of Inception's possible Oscar chances?
3 - Off-Topic - What do you think of Iron Man 2's mixed reception?

What are your thoughts on how lackluster this summer has been both in terms of quality and box office?

For Podcast 20 you guys predicted your ratings for Inception, what are your predictions for Inception's opening weekend and overall box office?

wanted to know if with the dream machine shirt you could get the big url writing on the back, with inception also written on both sleeves, all together.

just ordered a normal 'dream machine' top, hope it hits my home (Hobart, Tas, Aus) before our premier of Inception of July 22nd

am going to IMAX Melbourne, already got a ticket for midnight sell out (www.imaxmelbourne.com.au says its 140mins)

this is unlike Dark Knight, which i would have seen about 72 hours before ya'll state side.
