Wes Bentley is in final negotiations to fill the last vacant spot in Christopher Nolan's Interstellar, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Bentley, perhaps best known for his roles in American Beauty and The Hunger Games, starred in 8 films last year. He most recently nabbed the lead role Ryan Murphy's new pilot, titled Open, for HBO.

Bentley joins Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Michael Caine, Casey Affleck, Bill Irwin, Ellen Burstyn, Mackenzie Foy, Timothee Chalamet, John Lithgow, and Topher Grace in the mainly American cast. Earlier this week I brought up the apparent lack of diversity in the cast, and this recent announcement only furthers the discussion. Give us your thoughts on the cast by leaving a reply in the comments below! Interstellar travels into theaters and IMAX on November 7, 2014.
