Buried away at the bottom of a recent Elle magazine interview is evidence that Casey Affleck is the latest addition to the cast of Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar. The fashion magazine caught up with the star last night at the premiere of Ain’t Them Bodies Saints. When the magazine asked Affleck about what else he is working on, the actor answered that he is “going to work on a Chris Nolan movie in the fall.”
Casey is the younger brother of Ben Affleck, and is most known for his roles in the Ocean's trilogy and Gone Baby Gone. He earned a Golden Globe nomination for his performance The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, and his latest role in Ain’t Them Bodies Saints is garnering much attention. Affleck joins the increasingly impressive cast of Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Michael Caine, and Bill Irwin. Interstellar is set to start filming this August, and will be released November 2014.
