So the project is to recreate a scene from a movie. I chose the first casino scene (Chinese Bar) from the film "21". It's very challanging because it has at least 45 shot's in the 3 minute scene, a lot of close ups and fast cuts to try to keep the viewer interested in the card game. Well, turns out i now have 7 people in my digital film group. In other words 1/3 of the class. Big mistake. Today we had an 80 minute period to film and I wanted to get most of it done. I shot roughly 10 seconds of footage. :o 4 out of the 7 members wouldn't stop arguing. It got to the point were I was no longer in control. I spoke to each of individuals sepretly and told them they need to cool it or there out, and if they participate we can get this done in the next 3 days. I don't know if I got through to them, i'll find out tommarow. Any suggestions? Useually I'm able to pull the movie off, this time i seriously think i'm in trouble. Thanks for the help.

Well, if you have to you can always play your 'I'm the director!' card, though it might make you look like an ass if your classmates would not agree. Are you in filmschool? 'Cause that would make it easier, then your classmates will understand that you have to make some dicisions without people complaining...
David emerges from the store slowly. He braces himself against a parked car and then keeps on walking in a nightmarish daze.

WE PULL BACK as David blends in with dozens and dozens of ordinary people, walking on an ordinary street, in an ordinary city.

No, Digital film class at my high school. I've changed the scene to an easier one (same movie) and it seems that as of now everyone is going to cooperate. The main issue is one certain kid who is very disruptive and has an ego through the roof (I do MMA and he still think he could kick my ass, ha! I asked him how to punch and he couldn't even do that right) so there's no question that he's out of my group after this video is finished. He's the root of the problem but doesn't think so, so that may bring up some issue's next week when I tell him he's gone. Not much he can do about it though besides threaten me.
