Most of the moments have been mentioned already like:
-The "Time" sequence at the end
-Mal's suicide
-Robert and Maurice Fischer dream scene (pin-wheel)
But the first one that came to mind was the raining shootout sequence, pretty much started by the freight train. Thinking back, I realise that during the shootout there was no score, (similar to some little fight scene in TDKR
) which made it so much more intense IMO. Plus as a first time audience you didn't know wtf was going on.
